George Brashnarov

For over 20 years Georgi Brasnarov has been working for the development of the IT industry in Bulgaria and the promotion of the country as a recognizable location for the creation of quality software products. He achieves these goals mainly in his role as majority owner and manager of Nemechek Bulgaria, as well as founder and long-time chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASCOM). He is also a founder and member of the Board of the Bulgarian ICT Cluster, founder and chairman of the board of the European Software Institute - Eastern Europe Centre, etc.
His accumulated knowledge in the construction industry, as well as those in the technology world, inspire him to be one of the first Bulgarian specialists to help create and promote IT solutions for the architectural, construction and PropTech industries. This fact, coupled with the belief that entrepreneurs have a duty to help start-ups, led to his decision to contribute to building and developing successful businesses. Georgi Brashnarov ranks among the first business angels and mentors, he is one of the founders of Angels Club and is an investor in venture funds LAUNCHub Ventures and Eleven. His support is focused on companies and ideas from different business domains - IT, PropTech, alternative methods of transportation, etc.
